“Just Go Ahead And Send Me
Some Information” by
Mr. Cold Call
One of the
most prized objection’s of any sales prospect that you are cold calling is the
following: "Just go ahead and send me some information." Now, either you
can be sales puppet and send them information, OR you can ask one or more questions to really qualify the telephone call. Below are two follow-up questions that you can ask your prospect:
"(First name of prospect), I have no problem
sending you some information, but my only fear is that I'm going to send you information and when I follow up with you next (List day, date and time) you may say
that you have not had a chance to look over this material?"
I would then pause and based on their
response you will now get a better idea if they are pulling your leg or really
have intentions on doing business with you! And finally, always try to get a verbal commitment from your prospect as to when you can follow up and speak again.
